Quarters Coffee House is Mare Island’s go-to spot to get your morning coffee and stock up on upscale snacks. Located in what used to be an officer’s mansion, the impressive architecture and styling of the coffee house are just as impressive as their creative seasonal lattes and classic espresso favorites.

With a lemon tree out front and beautiful garden with lounge seating in the back, it’s a tranquil place to sip on a tea or iced coffee and just be – especially as the weather warms up.

Fun fact: Mare Island is know for a lot of things, but one that might surprise you is the 200 species of trees you can find on this tiny island. Starting in the mid-1800s, ship captains brought trees back from their navy voyages resulting in the diversity you can experience on the island today.
