Formerly one of the nine Coal Sheds that stored and loaded coal onto the Navy’s steam ships in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, Mare Island Brewing Co has painstakingly and completely restored and renovated this historic waterfront building on Mare Island. You can see their state of the art 15-barrel brewhouse from the bar, and they welcome visitors to take tours of the facility.
