Come join us every Sunday at 4:30PM to 07:30 PM at 611 Amador Street at our Afternoon Tea Dance. It's a great opportunity to dance and fellowship.
Learn Ballroom Dancing (Waltz, Cha-cha, Rhumba, 2 Step Ballroom etc.)
Learn Line Dancing (Western, wobble-wobble etc).

Native Hawaiian, arid Pacific Islander peoples to reflect listen to the truth within, and heal from stress, grief, and trauma engendered by systemic and acute hate and racism.

About Romeo Roque-Nido-Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, his cooking was influenced early on by a diversity of cultures before being broadened further during his time as a world-traveling student with California Maritime Academy (CMA). While his culinary influences are varied (he loves Italian food!), his truest passion is the cuisine of his motherland, the Philippines. Through The Filipino Instant Pot Cookbook, Romeo hopes to preserve the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines by using modern appliances to make it more accessible to even the busiest of families. Romeo earned his engineering degree from CMA and MBA from St. Mary's College of California. Today he lives in Vallejo. California with his wife and two children.

In partnership with the Vallejo Project and InSynapse Entertainment, we're proud to be at the 2nd Friday Vallejo Art Walk on Friday, June 10th at the corner of Georgia & Marin.
Featuring a music takeover showcasing live music and an information booth about Filipino History, Philippine Independence, and information about upcoming events happening in and around Vallejo to celebrate Philippine Independence.

Photo Exhibit: Filipinos on Mare Island
Formerly housed in the Mare Island Museum, an exhibit commemorating Filipinos relationship and contributions to Mare Island Naval shipyard will be unveiled in the McCune Room at John F. Kennedy Library.
The founder of the Filipino-American National Historical Society - Vallejo chapter FANHS, describes this collection as the relationship between Mare Island the Philippines dates back to 1898 and directly led to the employment of thousands of Filipinos up to its closing in 1998. Filipinos worked at Mare Island and contributed to the operations on Mare Island and subsequently helped shape the Filipino community in Vallejo as we know it today.
During the 2nd Friday Art Walk, visitors can enter the McCune Collection directly from the staircase on the plaza at the corner of Georgia at Santa Clara Streets.

Generations Vallejo’s Filipino American History
Generations is a feature-length documentary film about the unique Filipino-American immigrant story in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Vallejo, California. Vallejo’s prominent military base on Mare Island drew many Filipino to Vallejo. Their legacy and societal impact have continued to this day.
In partnership with the Filipino American National Historic Society Vallejo Chapter and with grant funding from the City of Vallejo and the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation.
Based on the book Filipinos in Vallejo by Mel Orpilla, the film’s narrator.
