January: Monsters & Creatures: Vampires, werewolves, demons, cryptids, or anything non-human and terrifying.
February: Folk Horror & Urban Legends: Curses, rituals, superstition, isolated communities, local myths.
March: Survivor’s Guilt: Survivors, slashers, killer-on-the-loose stories.
April: Psychological Terror: Unreliable narrators, paranoia, mind games, and slow-burn dread.
May: Haunted Places: Ghosts, cursed houses, abandoned buildings, restless spirits.
June: Weird Fiction & Cosmic Horror: Eldritch vibes, the unknowable, reality-bending strangeness
July: Body Horror: Transformation, disease, medical terror, the uncanny in flesh.
August: Dark Academia: Creepy campuses, secret societies, intellectual obsession.
September: Eco-Horror & Nature Strikes Back: Creatures, plants, or environmental forces turning hostile.
October: Supernatural Thrillers: Possessions, exorcisms, occult forces, or mysterious powers.
November: International Horror: Any horror written by or set in another country/culture.
December: Gothic Classics & Modern Gothics: Old mansions, family secrets, brooding atmosphere, gothic romance elements.
