MLK Jr 2026 Weekend – Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way

Vallejo Launches first 3-day MLK weekend led by NAACP Vallejo Branch #1081, bringing joy, learning, service and civic action to Vallejo.

Monday’s march will begin at the Wells Fargo Bank @ 1702 Tennessee St, and we will march to Hogan Middle School for a day of community programming.

Day 1: Sat, Jan 17 from 9am-3:30pm
Youth & Community Activities @ Hogan Middle School

  • Basketball Camp & Tournament

  • Literacy & Activities with Solano County Libraries

  • Community Programs with Veterans, Vallejo Police, IHART

  • Drone Games, MLK Facepainting, Food + More!

Day 2: Sun, Jan 18 from 3pm-5pm
Gospel Concert @ Union Baptist Church

  • A powerful night of praise and community

  • Voices of Watson Ellison, Foundation, Adult Voices of Citadel, Elite Steppers, Gena Brice and more

Day 3: Mon, Jan 19 from 9am-3:30pm
March & Program @ Hogan Middle School

  • March lineup at 8am
