Dawn Angelosante’s (piano) voice wraps lyrics into a dreamscape of sound and story, touching on love, friendship, heartbreak, and self-reflection. Tony Gibson’s (guitar) songwriting blends infectious melodies with honest, emotionally resonant lyrics. His music feels familiar and fresh.  Michael Fecskes (cello), a classically trained cellist and composer, adds a unique depth to the group’s sound.  His compositions are rich and soulful.

Together, they form The Northern Still, a dynamic acoustic/folk-pop trio. Since 2021 they’ve combined their individual voices and musical influences into a lush, intimate sound, with haunting vocal harmonies. Whether performing original compositions or their fresh takes on covers, they’ve captivated audiences throughout the North Bay.
