Osito formed in the summer of 2015 in Santa Rosa, CA during a production of the hit musical "Buddy" the Buddy Holly story. The group immediately had too much fun playing music across California and Texas, and over the next decade couldn't quit finding new incarnations of the same songwriter-driven, rock-n-roll roots that connected them in the first place. Today, their balance of in-the-pocket guitar-forward compositions and deep-cut, horn-centric grooves continues to offer a versatility of instrumentation unique to the Bay Area scene.
