On September 25, 2025, Geoffrey Miller releases his third solo album, a neo-roots honky tonk country album titled Everything That Sparkles. The title and opening track is an original tongue-in-cheek number flaunting the treasures of honky tonk living, set to a danceable upbeat shuffle rhythm, providing the theme for the rest of the album. The following 10 original songs are a neon and smoke laden collection of stories about starring in your own heartbreak movie, a whiskey bottle as a means of fortune telling, love as a game of chance, the perils of the honky tonk life, and a never-ending Okie migration.
Being true to his roots in Sacramento, CA, the album was recorded and engineered by Joe Johnston at the legendary Pus Cavern Recording studio. The album was produced by americana country maestro, pianist and steel guitarist, Max Hart, featuring performances from musicians Max Hart on steel guitar and piano, Travis Toy on steel guitar, Bill Bergren on steel guitar, Matt Combs on fiddle, Joe Craven on fiddle, Ian Worley on bass, Jim Frink on drums, and, from the band The Bottom Dwellers, Mark Eagleton on bass and Ivan Sohrakoff on backing vocals!
