Braulio Barrera was born in Lima, Peru on June 29, 1969. A singer and composer, he comes from a family of traditional Peruvian music artists. Braulio began to explore salsa in 2002 in Los Angeles, California. He recorded a soundtrack for the film Diarios de un motociclista, directed by Gustavo Santoalaya, which won the Golden Globe Awards.
He moved to San Francisco in 2011 and there he sang with the Pacific Mambo orchestra with which he won a Grammy for best Latin album, in the same category with Carlos Vives and Marc Antony. In 2013 Braulio created his orchestra called Somos el son, with which he had great success due to the energy and musical quality, playing in San Francisco Clubs, many salsa festivals and congresses, and released his first salsa album titled Como te soñe, with original songs composed by himself. Braulio currently does shows for children in several public schools through a program of the San Francisco Symphony.

A table reservation guarantees a table for you and your guests (up to 8 people) and a bottle of wine for your table, but you and your guests must have a GA Event Ticket to enter the event. A Table Reservation Ticket is $95 plus a $5 processing fee.
