Visit Vallejo’s Beautification Day 2, taking place on Saturday, August 23rd from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This time, our focus is the area adjacent to the Solano Inn and Prime Suites (Mariposa & Solano Avenue); a key corridor ready for revitalization and community care.
This initiative is part of our broader goal to host one Beautification Day per quarter, completing four impactful events each year. These efforts directly support the Visit Vallejo mission to beautify our city for tourists, visitors, and residents, and to maintain and uplift Vallejo’s key entry points and neighborhoods.
Beautification Day 2 – Event Details

Time: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM (early start to beat the heat!)
Location: Area adjacent to Solano Inn and Prime Suites (Mariposa & Solano Ave)
Community Support Highlights
Recology – Title Sponsor providing a 25-foot dumpster
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom – Complimentary tickets for the first 50 volunteers
City of Vallejo – Tool trailer, trash pickers, weed abatement tools, and PPE provided (Please bring your own gloves and sturdy boots)
Solano Inn – Providing water and snacks for volunteers
Music, media coverage, and drone footage (before & after!)
Additional sponsors and incentives are on the way
We’re aiming for 50+ volunteers and hope to remove over 10 tons of trash (20,000 lbs!) from this key corridor. Register Today!
