Bangka Sa Bay (“Boat on the Bay”) transforms a regular ferry ride into a moving Filipino family party—where music, culture, and community flow across the water.
Presented by Free Music Collective, this all-ages DJ Night turns the San Francisco Bay Ferry into more than transportation—it becomes the venue.
Launching from Vallejo, Bangka Sa Bay celebrates the city’s long-standing role as a cultural gateway in the Bay Area while bridging Vallejo and San Francisco through shared heritage, sound, and movement.
This activation is part of San Francisco Bay Ferry’s “Tides & Tunes” series, a month-long lineup of special January experiences designed to reimagine ferry travel through live music and culture.
