•  August 24: Ekphrastic Poetry Night – where spoken word meets visual wonder

 Plus, don’t miss the debut of a brand-new interactive sculpture by MIAS artist JeanCherie, inspired by the winged wildlife of Mare Island. Designed as a joyful photo moment and potential permanent fixture, it captures the unity, imagination, and heart that define Art of Community.
