A round-headed boy named Charlie Brown, a security blanket and a five cent psychiatrist—just some of the classics you will find when you visit the largest collection of Peanuts art work in the world. Laugh at Schulz’s original comic strips, learn about the art of cartooning and Schulz’s role in its development, watch documentaries and animated Peanuts specials in the theatre and draw your own cartoons in the hands-on education room. The Museum features changing exhibitions, a re-creation of Schulz’s art studio, outdoor gardens, holiday workshops and special events.

Western Railway Museum

For those looking for something fun, relaxing, and educational this summer, a visit to the Western Railway Museum is perfect. The highlight of any visit is a 10-mile round trip ride on authentically restored historic railcars. The Museum is completely run by volunteers, who operate trains every 90 minutes beginning at 11am (weather permitting). Visitors can view electric railroad exhibits in Cameron Hall, tour the Car House where 25 life-size antique electric rail cars are preserved, picnic under large shade trees in spacious Laflin Park, and shop in the Museum store.
