The event honors Jabari, their baby giraffe, making his public debut! Plus, check out all of the animal all-stars celebrating their birthdays in March including Taj the 70-year old elephant, Brandy the dolphin and Buzz the 81-year old sawfish. On Sunday, March 7 the 82nd Annual Academy Awards will be presented and celebrated at two events in Downtown Vallejo…at the Empress Theatre and the Annual Evening at the Academy Awards, a benefit for Arc-Solano held at Zio Fraedo’s. Did you know that the motion picture "All the Kings Men" that won three Academy Awards in 1950 was partially filmed in Solano County (Fairfield & Suisun City)?

The third concert by the Vallejo Symphony during their 2009-2010 season is Saturday, March 27 at Hogan Auditorium. Titled “Mostly Mozart” this evening’s presentation will feature horn soloist, Meredith Brown. Do you know that the Vallejo Symphony is celebrating its 78th season and is the seventh oldest symphony in California?
