This Month's Question

Grammy Award winning singer Rita Coolidge performs December 11, at Vallejo's Empress Theatre. In what year did Ms. Coolidge release her very first album?

The correct answer will be rewarded with two (2) Vallejo Baylink Ferry Passes ($48.00 value). Email your answer here.

Congratulations to Armand Seguin of Vallejo, whose name was drawn from those who correctly answered “Mare Island Recreation Association” to last month’s question: The MIRA Theatre Guild is Vallejo’s first and longest running community theatre, having been chartered in January of 1947. What did the letters M.I.R.A orginally stand for?

Armand wins two (2) Vallejo Baylink Ferry Passes ($48.00 value).
Did you know that author Jack London joined the Vallejo Yacht Club in 1910 and remained a frequent visitor until his death in 1916?

VOENA is the North Bay's amazing children's chorus that will perform with Rita Coolidge in Vallejo this month. Did you know that VOENA has performed for President Clinton and President Bush in Washington D.C. and for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican in Rome?
