Congratulations to Linda Chwistek from Vallejo whose name was selected from those who correctly answered “the second Saturday of the month” to last month’s Trivia Question: Arc Ecology sponsors the 2nd Annual Mare Faire on August 8th & 9th. They also host an Access Day to the Mare Island Heritage Preserve one day every month. What day of each month does this take place? Linda won two FREE passes for the Red & White Fleet’s Golden Gate Bay Cruise, plus two FREE Premier Passes for PIER 39 (a total value of $124.00!)

The Vallejo Symphony is celebrating their 78th season with four concerts. The orchestra debuted in 1931 with a 60 musicians in what auditorium?
The winning entry from the drawing of those who answered the question correctly will win two FREE passes on Blue & Gold’s Bay Adventure cruise (Total Value: $46.00).
Please email your answers to info@visitvallejo.com.

The Mira Theatre Guild is once again active and producing shows at the Bay Terrace Theatre. Misery Luvs Company is the current production at the Theatre. Did you know that the Mare Island Recreation Association (MIRA) was founded during World War II to provide entertainment and recreation for the thousands of sailors and civilian workers at the shipyard? A chorus line also performed in a MIRA production called the “Mare Island Follies of 1944.” |
