Lisa wins two (2) Premier Passes for PIER 39 (valued of over $80.00).

The Solano County Fair is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year with the Fair running July 22nd – 26th. What year did horseracing begin at the Solano County Fair??

Please email your answers to
info@visitvallejo.com. The winner chosen from a drawing of correct entries will win a two passes on Red & White Fleet’s Golden Gate Bay Cruise (a $44.00 value).

Did you know that the soul band Con Funk Shun (who will play at the Solano County Fair on July 23rd) was formed by two Vallejo High School students, drummer Louis McCall and singer/guitarist Michael Cooper?

Did you know that in 1912, passengers could disembark from ferries at the Monticello Wharf at the foot Georgia St. and ride electric trains to Yountville and Calistoga?
