On Friday, January 16, the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce will conduct their 134th Installation of Officers and Directors.
What was the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce’s original name when it began in May 1874?

Unfortunately, no one correctly answered the question to December’s trivia question: Before its current location on Sonoma Boulevard, what street was the Vallejo Filipino Community Center located? The correct answer was Georgia Street.

Did you know that the ferryboat Vallejo, built in 1879, is a side-wheel ferry that carried workers back and forth between Vallejo and Mare Island for 70 years? It is now a houseboat in Sausalito. |

Did you know that in 1903, Industrialist Andrew Carnegie donated $20,000 to the City of Vallejo to erect a new library which sat on the northwest corner of Virginia and Sacramento Streets, dedicated on July 4, 1904? It was torn down in 1970 as part of the downtown redevelopment project. |
