Regretfully, no one correctly answered last month’s trivia question: One of our newest members, East Brother Lighthouse, or more accurately a Light Station, is a beautifully restored Victorian Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast Inn perched atop an island in the strait that separates San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. How many rooms are available for overnight stays?
The correct answer was five (5) rooms.

The annual Christmas Concert at St. Peter’s Chapel will be held on Sun. Dec. 20th at 2 pm.
How many years have this fundraising event taken place?
The winner chosen from a drawing of correct entries will win two Premier Passes for PIER 39 (a $108 value). Each pass includes one cruise aboard Blue & Gold’s Bay Cruise.
Please email your answers to info@visitvallejo.com.

The 24th Annual Messiah Sing-A-Along is Sunday, Dec. 6th at the First Presbyterian Church. Did you know that Handel composed this two and half hour oratorio in only 24 days? Tradition has it that Handel closeted himself for much of that time, often refusing to eat, drink or sleep when urged to do so by his servants.

On Friday, December 11th at 7:00 pm, The Empress Theater Presents, “A Christmas Carol” (1951). Did you know that Patrick MacNee, the actor who played the Young Jacob Marley, was the same actor who later starred as John Steed in “the Avengers,” a long-running 1960’s British television series?
