Happy New Year and welcome back to more news and special events from V-Town Views, the e-newsletter from the Vallejo Convention and Visitors Bureau.
As 2008 begins, we hope your travel plans include a visit to Vallejo, California, the Bay Area’s #1 Gateway City! Whether or not it’s for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, Vallejo has so much to offer and experience with our convenient location and our quality and affordable lodging.
One of Northern California’s most unique events comes at the end of this month...the 12th Annual San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival, February 1-3, 2008. A FREE festival celebrating the importance of migratory shorebirds and waterfowl in the Vallejo Area with activities aimed to both entertain and educate the entire family. This 3-day event includes bird and nature walks, art exhibits, movies, lectures and many environmentally-focused events. At this Flyway Festival you will discover some of the best wetlands, wildlands, open spaces and historic sites in the Bay Area.
