Season 1

Georgia St in Downtown Vallejo, CA

Early in the series we see the main characters driving down a familiar road to many individuals from Vallejo. Georgia St, known for its role in local history, viewers will be able to identify some landmark buildings that surround the area.

The Crestmont Theater

Located on Georgia St, this theater set was constructed to play a significant role and provided a rustic and warm feeling to scenes captured here. The theater signage has since been removed for now.

The lights in Downtown Vallejo were a project put in place by local merchants to help beautify the iconic street. In the show, there are a few instances where they are on full display, enhancing each shot.

The Drug Store

Interesting note about the Baker's Drug Store set, during production there was an actual drug store that opened just a block away on the same street and for months confused customers and visitors alike.

Indian Alley

Located right off Georgia St and near Virginia St in Vallejo, a wall with the alley was painted to mirror the artistry of the set design inside the famed cafe within the show, Monet's.

Virginia St, Vallejo CA

Located on Virginia St and next to the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce, Monet's which was the former building of City Lights Cafe & Catering. The building still stands but as of now there is no telling what the future of the cafe will be.

Mare Island in Vallejo, CA

Mare Island for years was a working Naval Base, today it is used for many activities like wine tasting, golfing and more industrial uses like ship repair. Many film makers have utilized this unique, aged setting for many different projects and 13 Reasons Why called it home during production. Though some of the locations will be not shared for privacy reasons, here is a location that is currently available to the public.

The opening in the road leads to the San Pablo Bay Trail which lines the outer edge of Mare Island and on a clear day, offers the greatest views of the sunset and Mt. Tamalpais.

One of the closed sets used during production, this former gymnasium and bowling alley which was heavily used during the 1940s and 50s was cleaned and remodeled to be one of the more iconic settings used throughout the project.

Highway 37 and River Park

The bridge connecting Vallejo to the rest of Highway 37 which can lead you to Sonoma, Marin and San Rafael is shown here in this wide shot and offers a small look at the Vallejo Waterfront and River Park, both great places for an evening stroll.

The Classic Vallejo Skyline

Lastly, the classic Vallejo Skyline, will serve as a piece of history, for the chimney that is shown here has been a staple for many years, and since production has wrapped, that smokestack has been demolished and will now live on forever in our memories and images captured by the show.
