Fright Fest Presented by SNICKERS® is back with more zombies than ever before! Halloween descends on Six Flags Discovery Kingdom as the park transforms for Thrills by Day and Fright by Night! Enjoy frightful fun and spine-tingling adventures that bring Northern California to a new level of terror. Visit the park for Fright Fest starting Saturday, September 27 from noon to 10 p.m., and Fridays and weekends through November 1 for scary, spooky fun!
Chilling Thrills by Day Entertainment! Enjoy Fright Fest for the whole family with seasonally-themed shows, attractions and lots of kid-friendly activities during the daylight hours. There’s traditional trick-or-treating in Looney Tunes Seaport, an elaborate pumpkin patch with cookie decorating and a pint-sized hay maze. Kid-themed shows are the rage and not to miss! Twick or Tweat Twail – Kids receive treats while visiting their favorite characters in Looney Tunes Seaport. Witch’s Brew & Island Zoo – Meet all kinds of small mammals, reptiles and birds – like an alligator or bat perhaps? Find out what’s brewing in this delightful show. Halloween Junction - Meet Pumpkin Pete – a talking pumpkin! Watch a puppet show and have your cookie decorated with Witch Wendy in this fun pumpkin patch area. Monster Party – When the monsters are at play, so are the kids! Monster Party is a fun show at the Harbor Stage in the main plaza. Pirates of the Dead Sea – Who has the key to the treats? Leave it to our intrepid band of sea lions and zombies to find out! Wildlife Shows – Guests can enjoy daytime wildlife shows. This includes Drench! Dolphin show presented by Toyota®, Birds of the World show, Odin’s Temple of the Tiger, Pinnipeds of the Caribbean sea lion show, Elephant Training Session and Walrus Experience demonstration. When the Sun Goes Down … Terrifying Fright By Night Entertainment and a Monstertainment extravaganza begins each night as the family-friendly daytime park transforms into a shadowland of ghouls and zombies. The awakening kicks off the evening fare with a chilling ceremony at the gallows and Dance Macabre takes place, a truly deadly dance party to get the night started. We recommend that parents take precaution; as the fear factor goes up and the content may not be advised for little ones. Additional Fee to Enter Some Haunted Attractions. An additional fee is required to enter haunted mazes and attractions that can be purchased just outside the Explorer Outpost, located across from the fountain in the main entrance plaza.
