Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is one of the worlds only combination wildlife parks, oceanariums, and theme parks, with great rides, spectacular shows, Shouka the Killer Whale, and Odin’s Temple of the Tiger. And don't miss Six Flags' Fright Fest in October and the new Holiday in the Park beginning the day after Thanksgiving.

While you are here be sure to tour of the former Mare Island Naval Shipyard, the oldest shipyard on the west coast. Then visit the Vallejo Naval & Historical Museum and learn more about Vallejo’s rich and diverse past. 

Take a scenic round-trip cruise aboard the Vallejo Baylink Ferry from our beautiful waterfront to San Francisco for a day of shopping and entertainment at the fabulous Ferry Building Marketplace, PIER 39 and the world famous Fisherman's Wharf.

The summer has exciting NASCAR and Indy car events at Infineon Raceway just a few minutes drive along scenic highway 37 which is also the southern edge of the Napa and Sonoma wine regions. Drive a little north to the world famous Jelly Belly candy factory and enjoy the treats of everyone’s favorite candy.
